At the moment you have at the bottom of the update page double right (<<) and left arrows (>>) meaning "go to page one" and "go to last page." I.e. << 1 2 3 >>
My suggestion is to add single arrows (< and >) to allow "go to next page" and "go to previous page." When on page one, the previous page arrow would be grayed out as well as the next page arrow when on the last page. I.e. << < 2 3 4 > >>
There's been too many times that I've accidentally hit >> after reading a manga on the update page thinking it takes me to the next page and then go back using << to go back to the first page and then click on page numbers to find the page I was on.
An alternate suggestion is to have the page buttons as follows: << < 1 2 3 ... n-1 n-1 n > >> where "n" is the last page. This suggestion would allow somebody to click on the "..." to go to a specific page.
You can even shorten it to: << < 1 ... n > >>. When on a specific page, let's use page "x", it would look like this: << < 1 ... x ... n > >>. The first "..." would allow you to choose a specific page between 1 and "x", and the second "..." would allow you to choose a specific page between "x" and "n" where "x" is the present page an "n" is the last page.
Of course the old workaround would for me to change the page number in the url. But that can be inconvenient if the page I am modifying doesn't exist (i.e. greater than the last page) or don't remember the last page I was on.
