Yeah, that's what happens when the manga is based in 40% realism. Attraction isn't always enough to overcome life's hurdles. The guy doesn't always get the girl.. woman. Instead they have a moment, and move on hopefully better off than they were before.

Considering his previous series, this is probably the best outcome.

This feels like the best outcome for all involved. Sensei got her 'payback' (maybe), and can now forgive her husband. He got to have a complete first crust experience while maturing a bit, and Akari got an in on her love interest's turn ons. It almost felt realistic.

oh yeah, I agree. By payback, I mean for her husband’s (possible) cheating. She did recognize the MC’s feelings by the end there, and his sincerity. She felt desirable and loved again, and was able to let go any leftover bitterness from the husband’s affair. She started to feel for him too, but knew it couldn’t go anywhere long term.

As for the pantyhose, it’s probably safe to say he developed a fondness for them, and Akari was the perfect person to inherit them…
