As we are right now:

- Youta went to a remote village to help expand the girls' lifespan after defeating the empress. After clearing up a misunderstanding with the witch Kiki, who govern the village, Kiki told Youta about Kanejo's vulnerabilities.
-Meanwhile, Lilia traveled to this village to find Hanahana so Hanahana can collaborate Lilia's story about being pregnant and the moon goddess existing. Unfortunately, Hanahana's last moon broke and left her in the state you see now.
- Lilia decided to speak to the moon goddess anyway. Moon goddess told Lilia her plan of dispelling the moonbreaking curse has failed and she will change the timeline to try again. Lilia reminded moon goddess of the plan she told her about before when they first came into contact with each other. Moon goddess sent Lilia back in time, answering a long-established mystery of how Youta/Lilia time traveled.

Last chapter people were commenting that restarting the world now and resetting everything would be stupid even though it was obvious that wasn't going to happen (as if anything that just lands in one chapter should be taken at face value in this series).

I wonder what new way readers will invent next chapter so they can pretend their IQ is that much higher.

I actually still enjoy this series and haven't complained about the writing at all in the last 300 chapters, I'm just pointing out the obvious and inarguable fact that the plot point of Lilia throwing him out of windows in "the present day" hasn't been relevant or addressed in over a hundred chapters, probably more.
