Well it looks like it's official here... Where the author starts the full phase of writing extra edgy dumb as hell plot points with "shocking" twists and loses all the fun from the manga because now it's really a "serious" manga.

He does this every single time for all their works and it's so annoying. Could we just have a "dumb fun" story from start to end for once and not this crap.

I wonder if this "slime-mind-witch" will be mercifull at the end when she's defeated and see that Youta is someone that can change things and return the sanity to both of the girls that died so far.

Maybe it's like how someone said a couple of chapters ago, maybe this slime witch actually wants the queen dead and it's just testing Youta's resolve.

That was a good way to move Youta in the direction the story needs. Leigh Mary (best girl after Tia) has taught him to be a ruthless killer in order to achieve his goal and survive. It marks the transition from Youta relying on arousal for defeating humans to him actually being able to kill them if needed.

His desire to honour Leigh Mary's wishes and to be somone who she would have respected will drive him from this point onwards.

The first step will be killing Momo. RIP.

The scene of somebody dying so the protagonist understand what he needs to do was used many times before that it doesn't have the same impact anymore.
