Until this worthless arc was introduced I gave it a 9 star rating I actually looked forward to future episodes, reassessed it to a 4 star manga hopefully others will take similar actions as well if the story doesn't improve.

Yeah.. What you just said is the definition of cliffhanger. But I agree, 1 or 2 cliffhangers in 20-30 chapters are fine, but cliffhanger at the end of almost every chapters are a bit much.
