Just a bit bothered by all the translations that call wounds on a body scars.
If on a body and not healed, the cuts are wounds, cuts, or lacerations (medical terms aren't as commonly used, but are correct.)
If on a body and healed, we call THAT a scar. I have seen the medical term cicatrix used in translation, but only uppity people showing off their education would really talk that way. Use scar for healed wounds.
Scar is used the way you are using it in the first panels when talking about inanimate objects, like a wall or rock or mountain.
