I don't remember what manga the tags and ratings are from, but it's a running joke between me and my friend that all the award winning "9 on mangadex" titles are just these edgy fucked up stories about suicide and rape and as much overly tragic drama as possible because tragic + drama = good. We just started calling any fiction thay goes out of its way to be miserable "9 on mangadex" now.
