So were you satisfied with her reasoning? I didn't notice that she left her "mark" on him at all :pacman:

As always, big thanks to @Rythyugn for collaborating with me for this release :)

Finally he thought of asking who the hell is the girl in the first place lol. It was AFTER he started living with her but better late then never i guess. Now, we wait till he has another epiphany about, wait for it, calling the fucking parents!

Idk. Both this and Ron Kamon; balancing the darkness of murder and the fun hijinx of two partners… it’s uncanny valley of if it’s fun and engaging or awkward and inappropriate :jigsaw:

The detectives around Kuchinashi kun is getting even more useless by the chapter. C'mon man show us your cool side and shit.
I was deadass saying the same thing about the chief, that man has done nothing but doubt both MCs when they have been solving cases left and right ever since FMC first came into the picture....

WHAT THE FUCK HAS HE DONE???

betting the picture is supposed to be her in her bed while her parents scream at each other? they didnt sign the certificate because they trusted a detective they were just happy that someone was willing to take her off their hands

I'm really into this manga right now. Yeah, the culprits are always obvious, but its how they catch them that interests me. Always little details that even the reader can go back and spot. The girls backstory is also intriguing. Its not perfect, but this is a good manga imo.

I hate when they use incompetent gumshoes to have a way to explain the plot. The back and forth gets tiring when the reveal and conclusion is banal. I feel like a two part explanation is better when perp has a more complex plan as opposed to revealing their motive and successive fuck ups. Or if you elucidate their whole plan and then you get a melodramatic sob story of an anecdote of their fucked up perspective. Incompetent detectives are fun to read when they're being given the run around, not when they're just refuting and dumping dialogue, better suited to the perp.

I really love the whole "smart kid who assists the police in gruesome murder cases" shtick. I love this type of crime-solving story, even more so when there isn't some weird over-arching plot about some strange shadow organization cough cough case closed cough cough. Nothing against case closed (detective conan) of course, I absolutely loved watching the anime when I was younger and I'm thinking of picking it back up, maybe reading the manga, but I was really disappointed by the lack of involvement with Ran in the story. It seemed to constantly be building up to conan revealing the truth and a lovely romantic subplot with Ran, but every time something stopped it or undid his work and I just got frustrated with it.
