Betting all three colluded, she - to be free to her love, they - to get the inheritance
Oh that's a good guess. I thought just the sister to be with her lover instead of an arranged marriage.

It's weird she brings up the murder though though. Unless she's feeling guilty.

Or, there's a step sibling thing going on and the siblings are lovers so the brother murders him so they can be together, maximum drama style

Is reading this chat safe. No spoiler?
As per writing this comment we all just speculating currently.

Yep I believe so as well. With the sister revealing her unapproved love story, I think she also has a motive here. Of course the brothers having a man pride for the inheritance.

I'm rough speculating the ladder is in the picture here means the sister is the one carrying the body to the middle. That if the ladder can't hold 130+ KG of weight and the brothers were to hold the ladder somewhat somehow.

Although yeah I find it weird that the sister insisted that it's a murder when the inspector insisted it's a suicide.

Thank you as always for the sl.

Whoever was the one that said something along the lines of "this is just an Ace Attorney fanfiction made by someone who shipped Nick and Maya," that line's getting more true with every chapter. Tsugumi's already been kidnapped and now we've got an evil-looking character who more or less said the "evidence is everything" line. Plus a ladder on step 13.

A ladder you mean (the eternal struggle)

I wish they went whole hog and just made him a defense attorney instead of a detective. Exposing logical fallacies works better as fun dialogue compared to narrative inconsistencies when its just the author writing both sides. Also when it isn't halfway between trying to make it an action thriller sometimes, it just flows better.

Someone might already said it, but it's pretty obvious that whoever killed the father followed his footsteps so that they don't imprint their own footprints.
