Personal list of groups I don't want to see in my follows

This is an alternative way to deal with the problem that prompted this thread, namely, people maliciously posting chapters out of order to spoil people. This one could also serve another purpose, say if you prefer a specific group when more than one group is actively uploading a title.

Just let me flag a group in a way that prevents their uploads from showing up in MY follows list (and on the summary page of a manga).

This might make more sense to implement per manga rather than globally in the case of just preferring a specific group on that manga, in case the non-preferred group is actually preferred in a different manga. But a global blocked groups list just like you can block users might be useful.

Read the pinned list of planned and rejected features before posting a suggestion. Under “Settings”, you will see that personal blacklisting of groups is a planned feature.

Also, note that greylisting groups has been suggested. This is a superior idea, as it causes uploads to be flagged but not blocked from one's list.

As to your claim about blacklisting

Actually, it's not. Nor does it solve some of the other problems address by the suggestion of that thread.

That other thread was prompted by a sneak-attack out-of-the-blue. Most of the victims had never previously encountered an upload by the victimizer, and therefore would not have known to blacklist that account or group had the option existed to do so.

Further, the solution in that thread addresses non-malicious uploads that create potentially problematic gaps, and cases that will arise when a gap is created by some group withdrawing its uploads.

I did search but apparently I didn't search well. Sorry about that. I was kind of surprised it hadn't been suggested already, so my surprise was justified because it indeed has.
