You can really feel the mangaka's roots if your radar is strong enough lol. But that's irrelevant for those whose aren't! It's a fun series. I am fearful for its longevity though. I am loving it cause it's fun and definitely worth reading imo. But objectively speaking it's hard to say how much the setting and characters can carry that momentum...

I usually kind of despise exorcism series from ShonenJump. Back then before Mangaplus released variety genre of new manga today, it was mostly about exorcism manga. Most of them are kind of boring, but I gotta admit this one is pretty fun. Sadly it's licensed on VIZ, not mangaplus T_T
