For those who are wondering about the boss' gender, one of the bunny girls uses the pronoun "them" (p.18) about them, so judging by that and their androgynous looks and clothing, they seem to be nonbinary.

Surprised that so many complain about the shift from the last chapter to this one. Didn't bother me at all. The new setting wasn't immediately apparent, but that's not a problem in itself, and things became clear pretty quickly. Lots of great details: I loved the bar owner, the detailed food prep (as usual), Akira's problems with the ventilation hood, and especially the last panel of Houka ❤️

Not at all, that's the translator's choice since Japan don't use gendered pronouns, "them" here is just to be on the safe side
