Ehh, personally I don't mind it. It's supported by the narrative (the sheer rage because of the unfairness of the situation + critical body condition) and it didn't magically kill all enemies, just allowed him to last a little bit longer. Like in role-playing games barbarians and berserks can keep on fighting even with fatal wounds.

i dont mind the berserk but i have to say that the "cool" effect/transformation did ruin it a bit. Just a bit. Also I so expected Jenna or Aaron to die too but luckily not.
