Basically the whole author's formula for this work: bounce the reader between "MC is crazy" and "The Addams are crazy."

Obviously both are true, it's all a matter of perspective. Also all those creepy shots are from MC's point of view, hnnng?

Calling it a shitty situation would be an euphemism, but this mc is still a dumbass for trusting that girl and for a lot of other reasons.

I'm not sure what the author is trying to do with him but i don't buy that crap about them being just an isolated family of oddballs. Why not just. . . send him out to the mainland with that boat and be done with it?

Lets be honest who didn't see this coming? Guy lost the once chance to leave so the girl could go shopping and clubing. He definitely didn't know that girl enough to trust her in this kind of situation
