It is in the hubris gained from human intellect that pushes us further away from true understanding. We believe ourselves to be the arbiters of this world simply because we can interpret it to a higher degree. But is it knowledge that determines one's worth? Is a newborn child any less important that a learned scholar? In order to gain true understanding, we must understand that there is no hierarchy, no clause that bounds us to positions of power. We are all equal under the sun, regardless of what we do in its light.
