Just speculating, but it seems like future Elsa actually took down the system...or was it something else? And now that her power is almost all used up, she can't suppress it anymore.

What I find fascinating about this scenario, is that in so many other game/isekai scenarios, the protagonist uses their in game knowledge to change events, but instead, Evie is nearly helpless. It's Elsa who is changing things.
