She brought the 4 of them to the Dust Box for 2 reasons. 1 to hide the face that someone from the Dust Box got out, and 2 because she thought they were attacking that person and by the time she realized they weren't it was too late. So she tampered with the scene so it would look like they all just disappeared, so hopefully no one would look closer. But she didn't know about the other 2 Lumberjacks or Lotus, which is why she thought it was safe to bring them to the Dust Box without them escaping. I'm guessing Sumia living with Ren isnt wide spread information, since it's an experiment to see if humans and vampires can co habitats. Now that they're trying to escape, she wants to kill them so they can't tell the outside what happened. I dont think it's all explained the best, but I dont think its poor writing either. I think its mostly because it's taking so long for this to be translated that people forget the small details.

It was a really slow process that took a lot of social pressure from his patrons for him to cave in

Another thing to understand about Zuygoya is that he is a married man and father of 2 kids, so chances are that also played a big role on him not wanting to become a fulltime hentai author
So does he like big tits? yes, but he never really loved them that much, and did try hard to not have them be the main focus, but the man had bills to pay, and a family to feed, plus he did buy a new house too, so you gotta do what you gotta do
You seem to have your timeline a bit mixed up, suggesting that he's coming back to this now after having done the porn book, but actually this series finished up like 6 months before Sexual Service came out.
