I know nothing about this story, but when I saw the release post on Tumblr and the passion that went into this scanlation project, I just had to pick it up. And of course, I enjoyed this first chapter very much. Thank you!
Spiffing. I'd be interested to know how the Japanese translator handled the landaulette/suffragette pun.
Also, if you need a proofreader drop me a line. Although it seems your staff is pretty replete already.
I know nothing about Bertie, Jeeves and P.G. Wodehouse but I'm glad to be able to read Katsuta Bun's work, her traits and the story are so charming. I love Bertie's silly expressions !

I completely forgot to respond to this somehow! As far as I can tell, the landaulette thing wasn’t actually a pun in the text of the original short story - Bertie just spaced out and imagined he was at a lecture, and the mangaka decided the “lecture” would be a women’s suffrage rally.
(And I know it’s been an awfully long time since we put this chapter out, but we might take you up on the proofreader offer in future if it’s still available! I kind of fell off Please, Jeeves due to various life and health circumstances, but after putting out one more chapter of a different manga I hope to get back into it.)
