I don't understand how you don't have the capacity to verify this because I used to be the owner on your own website and also requested to be removed as leader when the group became defunct, do you have no record of changes of ownership of a group on your systems? Anyway, but I was able to look on discord for confirmation that I requested ownership of the group and was granted it by your staff.

May I please get some clarification on this? I don't understand how a group leader can be abusing the policy by asking to have their content removed, additionally, if users are abusing your policy (what policy?) then it is in your best interests to remove their content from your website surely.

Anyway, the content itself infringes on your policy:

When uploading a chapter, you are asked to confirm "I am authorised by the content owner to upload this content on Mangadex".
Though the content was uploaded before this disclaimer was added, the group members were not authorised by the content owner to upload the content on Mangadex. Therefore, the content infringes your own content policy and it should be removed on that basis.

So you quit being the group leader, then you asked for it back, and now you want to delete the group's works to quit again?

No, I just asked for group leader permissions to be removed when the group shut down. When the chapters were uploaded they were allowed to be uploaded to the website but they no longer follow the website's content policy so I want them removed.

Hi, as per our Terms of Service, uploaders are solely responsible for their content, therefore, only the uploader or current group leader has the "authority" to remove it. In the past, these requests caused significant conflicts, particularly regarding shared releases between multiple groups (I'm not saying this is the case though).

We only perform removals when legally compelled by a rights holder or law enforcement.

Again, I would suggest you to contact each uploader individually to discuss removals. We will not do it for you.

I would not be requesting that you remove chapters that are shared releases, only the releases only added by Angelic Scans, so there should not be any conflicts.

Since I am the group leader, if you could please give me the group leader permissions, then I am quite happy to do the removals myself. I was previously group leader and given the role by your staff previously. Unfortunately, the uploaders are no longer contactable so this is the only way that I am able to protect the rights of the group members as you have retroactively applied agreements to the uploaders who did not make such agreements when they uploaded the chapters.
