the king is at fault here I think. I personally believe that the first queen is not at fault. logically speaking, it is only right for Kasha to surrender her child tp the first queen. she was only brought to the palace to conceive the king a child anyway.
This chapter has so much clusterfuck happening lmao.
1. When Berta say "is it possible the Queen is sick", I wonder if the First Queen's obsessiveness towards pureblood has now further twisted into a mental sickness or something. We need another PoV from First Queen's side to know for sure.
2. "We will not acknowledge the wild act of polygamy" lmao. like, the King already has many concubines that YOUR BELOVED QUEEN MARGARITA offered herself before Berta even wedded as Second Queen tho? Also, yes, please remember that the King's birth mother is a concubine. Not even a second Queen like Berta, but a concubine.
3. Hmmm who is the twin that will cause trouble...??? I think it might be Henry, but well, if Henry did do it, I wonder if Joel will do something too.
btw @Agirlhasnoname if Berta is brought there as a concubine, then sure, she has to give her child to the first queen, just like what happened with the King back when he was a baby. But Berta is legally wedded as a Second Queen. She has every rights to hold and nurture her child by herself.

So, she was brought to the palace to resolve a confict between the royal and kasha. Originaly she was planning to return home after 5 or 10 years. The time for her clan to build a influence in the royal palace and for the royal appease kasha. The child wasn't in the equation at all for the two party.
Well if my memory is correct, in the novel they said the kasha clan have 50% of the kingdom money

Every chapter is better than the latter, I'm very looking forward to the inspection....
I like the twins, I've got a thing for an angry and calm duo, especially when the latter is actually a bigger bitch in disguise. If well done, they can be very entertaining, and I wish they'd be nicer to our queen in the future ;v; (in case they don't lose their heads)
