As for myself, after 38 chapters...
This is REALLY good.
I especially like the fact that :
-It's not a dumb thing like being into a romance novel, meanong mc already know everything that will happen, making most of time trash story.
-Time pass in both world, so no bullshit like being sent back to the past ( Hello Doctor Elise, trash story)
-The main character is good. Not a mary sue, and certainly not a saint too, she just want to be left alone, and is harsh when she need to be.

Followed. Nice story for now, good art, good main character.

I couldn't get past chapter one because of the walls of text, am I reading a manhwa or a novel ?
Maybe it was a nice novel, but this is bad just from the execution, and I'm not even talking about the story which feels all too generic for me.

This is very prevalent in this type of romance story, they are adapted from novels which are supposed to be incredibly good (I don't doubt novel writers write well) but a manhwa is more about drawings to tell the story, not walls of text in a dark background. I guess they pay artists that can draw beautifully to adapt their novel for more exposure, which doesn't mean those artists can draw manhwa well and that's more important than just drawing well for a manhwa. Or at least get someone to guide the way you sequence drawings in a manhwa ?

Novels are also as competitive as manhwas and others, so it's also not unusual to have always the same time of plot every time, which is obviously bad. Those novels are supposed to be good, but they're all the same. Even if they're "well written", I'm bored of their repetitive trope.

Any industrial plot that's not well done gets a 1/10 from me, this one as well.

The most frustrating thing about this for me is that even though overall this is a decent read... I hate how the people who are obviously on the MC's side have negative communication skills. The permanent gloomy atmosphere is exhausting too. Even though I rate this a comfy 6/10 I don't think I'm going to keep reading this because I can read something else in this genre, experience all the same tropes, and enjoy a better story.

The way it just keeps introducing new characters to assault the mc and leaves behind any positive relationship she has in favor of having everyone she hates cling onto her like flies. I dont know if this is a revenge story or mc torture porn lmao. If someone acts nice to her they may aswell be reduced to a background character. Except her dad but he’s like so emotionally constipated it actually hurts my ass.

With all the awful shit she goes through youd think it gets better but no she’s never comfortable and in a constant hostile environment. If the new character introduced isn’t a child you can bet they are gonna hurt her at least once In some way. Genuinely what was the point of introducing the third crown prince. Or the second for that matter cause apparently since his first instinct isn’t to slap he’s barely relevant.

I’m not saying that’s a bad thing like I guess when she actually gets her revenge it’ll be satisfying but seeing the gloomy atmosphere that completely fucks over any positive feelings I could ever have this is overall a pretty damn depressing read. Just HAD to give her a taste of happiness before taking it all away aswell, cause like why else would you mention her having a loving family alongside her doctor job thing. Dont get me started on the weird incest thing her brothers got going on.

I think generally reading this bums me out and is just watching something super unfair happen to a girl that did literally nothing other than have black hair. How did she not kill herself yet like genuinely what’s her plan cus she’s collecting "cards" or whatever but it doesn’t look like she’s being hit any less or liked by any more people. What’s the point of living such a miserable fucking life where there’s like 4 psycho men who want you because you don’t want them and get violent when you still don’t after they do the bare minimum (not treat you like garbage).

So yeah medical aspect could have been good, revenge could have been good, romance could have been good if she just ran away with the first princess and her little sister into the countryside for that yuri happy ending-- a lot of could haves. None of them landed though so I’m hella dropping.
