There are 2 kinds of people, those who prefer mcdonalds fries, and those who thinks they are disgusting. Never anything inbetween.
The reason is because they are pommes stripes, while all other fast-food chains uses pommes frites.
And either you prefer the whole
"crunchy exterior with a mashed-potato interior that is a lethal deathtrap just waiting to burn your mouth if you get a too fresh batch. And no way to know" thing that pommes frites got going for them, in which case you will prefer fries from Max.
Or you like the whole
"not crunchy and instead some savoury(I don't know english food-terms but I mean juicy without being juicy? I'm not describing it well...) thing that still has a crunch to it at times, and others spill out tasty potato flesh with every bite. That are thinner and not a safety hazard. But that becomes disgusting if you don't get a fresh batch as they (semi-)quickly become soggy and boring to eat. And some are small and get burned and are crispy anyway, in every batch/serving, so will be some crisp either way making for more variation." thing that pomes stripes got going for them, in which case you will prefer the donk (mcDonalds).
Also, their nuggets are tasty, but their curry sauce is also better than any other chain's. And perfect for said nuggets, as if they actually tested it with their own products when they developed it. Mcflurry is nice too, but the cup for it is a UX disaster. And regular soft-serve ice-cream for half a dollar is a pretty nice value-thing too.
