FUNA fills their stories with false starts, this is Kaoru's 3rd 'start' and the one which will carry the story for some time.
The first start was when she realised that potions weren't really a thing in this world and she was accidentally displaying miracles, and that as a nobody she would be controlled if she didn't leave.
The second is the one where she realised that even laying low as a waitress, her nature leads to drawing too much attention, and thus she has to leave again, or as a peasant face being controlled by someone else.
This time,
she's going to control her own destiny by putting everyone in a deadlock. By being seen publicly as a miracle worker and controlling the narrative so she's known by everyone as the Goddess's Friend, she's trying to ensure that no one can gain leverage over her or her abilities.
Everyone wants to be on her good side because of the miracles she can perform, and no one wants anyone else to have her, so no one is allowed to control her. This way she keeps her freedom, while also being able to ply her trade and help people with her potions.

I'm kind of disappointed with the very end of the chapter. Did she really need to have the broken ability to have her potion appear in any design bottle, including ones that just happen to have detachable useful and/or expensive items like jewelry?

Something about our MC still really bothers me and I can't figure out why. It's similar to the 40,000 Gold Coins one, yet distinctly different. It's absolutely not the overpowered thing since I don't feel it in stories that are much worse about it.

She's...arrogant? But it's not like she's ever wrong so it's just confidence.
She's contradictory between wanting to lay low and making big power moves? But the move right here is clearly a good way to secure her freedom.
Manipulative? Not really any more than anyone else around her, and certainly less malicious.
Wise? No, that's absolutely a good thing and an MC that thinks is very welcome!

BAH. No descriptor I can come up with feels even close to the heart of the issue and it's driving me nuts.

@Psychronia Shes too random and doesnt have a distinct character trait. Thats pretty much it and also the reason why youre confused.

@GodGinrai :
It's just that she is smartly using her goddess given power which is to be able to create potions with any effect she want in any container she can imagine (she discovered that fact after she got the power, finding that the goddess was quite sloppy when she created it, as the power just litteraly work as she asked for, she never had a second though about how broken it would be).
For what I read so far in the novel, the only limit for both of those is her imagination if she goes for fantasy effects, but if she want precise scientifc based modern stuff she need to have a certain level of knowledge of how it work.
For exemple, later in the story she has an inner rant about the fact that if she knew the inner working of a car she could make a gasoline potion with a working car container, while she is working on a horse pulled holy/magic chariot of doom/of the goddess ? ...

Calvin! Calvin! This needs a BL tag. No wonder the elder brother hasn't married yet.

@zenyo Yea, but my point is that it's not well-thought out as a story element. With this introduced as part of her ability, now anything that requires some sort of item to be solved can be solved by her ability by "making a potion in a bottle that has a detachable version of that item".

Page 8 "is she worry about me, ..." Shouldn't it be "is she worried about me" or "does she worry about me" or is it just me?

Is this group seriously going to try and change readers perception of manga by comparing the content to the Fascist extremist faction from Germany in WWII?
