The art is horrible and the plot is a bit rushed, but if you don't mind that, it's a good read and a good time pass.

I'm not tryna be one of those guys

but..

the manhwa truly butches this adaptation it does nothing right and imo spites every decision the original author does

it's a true embarrassment of a highly acclaimed novel

don't get me wrong the novel has some pretty bad arcs but it's never boring or flat it's always building it reminds me of shadow slave in that aspect
reading these novels u can really accurately imagine the characters and that flow.. it's just unmatched

primal hunter had truly some of the best chemistry with characters I've ever read this wasnt suppose to be just your typical boring power fantasy

If you're talking about S1 fine, I get your point. But... S2 is really great. New studio working on new season and it's fire. Just let them cook in peace.

the first volume is what builds the story especially for primal hunter if the first section is butched then the whole manhwa is butched

it's not just simple changes like bad pacing completely changing the Mc... is quite a big one honestly changing dynamic between the group characters removing characters altogether. it's just p*ss poor buy an ip change everything that made it good qet hate. rinse and repeat

when will corps learn Lol

this studio wanted to change everything about this story because they deemed their version was better than the original

it's a complete mockery of zogarth work. and a complete disappointment of a quailty read

Season 1 is what it is when it comes to the adaptation. I know that at the beginning of the tutorial, there should've been more people around Jake, etc. Zogarth just wanted to focus on writing the book, and he handed the adaptation over to the first studio—and, well, the result is what it is... From what I know, the author was willing to give advice and input on how things should look, but unfortunately, the first studio didn’t really take that to heart, as you can clearly see.

The second studio should’ve been in charge from the start—as a webtoon, the title would’ve been much more popular and rated much higher. It’s just a shame, really. Maybe someday I’ll see a reboot, because I absolutely love Primal Hunter.

yeah it is a true shame im glad they got a different studio tho it would've been nice if they were able to start on a blank slate cuz first 8 chapters are really bad and rush through like 40 novel chapters

granted first arc is what 180 or 160 ish chapters in the novel. and they're very dense it's kinda a slog for the first 20 ish chapters in the novel because you're just reading back story after back story but it doesn't mean you should completely remove the characters and completely change personality of others

it was very clear the first studio didn't read/liked the novel and just wanted to bring it down very clear malicious intent imo

would be interested to see this in a anime tho
lowkey has frieren level of world building and character interaction
and if done right will have a solid 9/10 anime. also has one of the more unique power systems

Yea, i think anime would be fire, but with great animation and treatment to source material like second studio did in webtoon. I will be waiting for this till my last days.
