We can partially look at what he is doing. They both are pursuing acting carrier, but only her switches personalities. I didn't think too much before, but some of his actions were definitely acted too. Like right now. I think he has these emotions normally and just overact them to full effect.
Well, contrary to their aspirtion I don't want them to became those excellent actors. I think that would be actually bad for their relationship if they were never sure the other just acts.

@Brize I see where you're coming from, but I disagree. I think they could be great actors but still be truthful with each other, and it'd be real beautiful that they both saw each other as they truly are despite both doing lots of acting.

Just offering up my perspective.

Plus, not like acting necessarily has to mean acting much outside of work, anyways. But yeah, if they continue to operate as adults like they do now, still, not like acting has to be untruthful.

They could, but it's uncertain. They are both now scholl kids, if they move into proper acting jobs, meeting less I would not be so sure they could keep it up. As of now, She is definitely not very truthful with her feelings and we don't know much about His true perspective.

At first I was hoping the title "pseudo-harem" actually meant there'd be some consistency regarding the behavior of the personalities, leading to an actual feeling of a harem, but that's not the route the story has gone down.

This kind of event, casual play-acting to evoke an emotional response, is the heart of the manga.
