I second this. It's nice to know when a manga started coming out because it can give you a better idea of the context. e.g. the
Sansha Sanyou anime got a lot of flak for being a fairly more-of-the-same slice of life schoolgirl series, but the manga actually first came out back in 2003, back when the concept was still fresh and new.
Also, sometimes an artist publishes a bunch of doujinshi one-shots in the same continuity, and the reading order is unclear (e.g.
"Our Combined Might Is 2 Million"). So, having a sort by date published would be nice (since date uploaded / date scanlated may not necessarily match up with date published).
A related nice thing to have would be the source of publication/serialization (e.g. Gangan Online, twi4, C93, Reitaisai 15, etc.) You'd normally come across this when looking for the publication date anyway.
