I don't seem to ever lose the interest in this kind of story. Such a bland story can even make me almost cry.

@Alraisen: IMO this kind of story is about some really basic stuff about people. It's not just simple kid stuff, this is what defines people into adulthood, it defines our political leaders, social conflict, everything: Are you a bully? Are you someone with the guts to resist bullies? When the authoritarians start taking people away, will you join in out of fear even though you don't like it? Or willingly because your fragile ego needs someone to hate and look down on? It all goes back to this kind of basic sense of justice, or lack thereof, in the classroom.

chapters 1-4 are wholesome, 5-6 just turn it all dark all of a sudden. mangaka, please pick one. one of the most disappointing read ever.



Edit: ok, just reread this manga to see what I missed, but nope it's story just doesn't work.

Lets see how it starts off with,

two girls having a cute romance over getting a piercing. Then, a wholesome story about a girl who somewhat saves another girl in a coma. Then we get back to the first two girls (I think?), in a place that does not fit at all within the timeline (in the first chp they had barely met each other, but inserting this one they would have already been on really good terms), but is still a cute story about a girl helping another girl from bullying.

Then we get to chps 5-6, oh boy.....

they definitely don't fit in with chp 1-2's time line anymore, and they turned it into a story about two yanderes, having sex, and talking about killing themselves and each other, while it is revealed that one of them was sexually abused in middle school. fun .

This is a perfect example of the mangaka just throwing the theme in a completely different direction with no warning.

this is the first time I actually tried to critique a manga on this website. hope that helped at least one of you to realize before reading this.
