I know the herp-a-derp plot progression is all for the sake of padding the ol' chapter count, but to cut Isuki some slack, he had his gender involuntary switched right as puberty was starting and it threw her world completely upside down. That is going to shatter anyone's self confidence and destroy your sense of place in the world. No wonder she is such a groundless windsock. The fact she has been able to even partially come to grips with her situation is, well, kind of strong.
