Gelee taking the Ursula route was unexpected, just like Puniru's rendition of the Little Mermaid. Gonna feel like the next chapter is taking ages after this development.

Up until these last few chapters, the manga was more of a slice of life type manga with occasional expositions dumps, but the way they portray Puniru feels so… human, like she’s actually being honest with herself on how she (they?) feel about her relationship with kotaru (can’t remember how to spell his name since I’m not Japanese) in other words the story actually started making sense and started actually making me feel the same feelings as other characters in the story
