Although this is supposedly fiction, it is scary how this chapter can truly happen, including how the bad parts including the killing.
And normal people will keep in the dark as only those on top will know and will not do anything so long it does not reach them, and even if its known to public, and public do something about it, it will get branded as terrorist activity by the ruling party, normies get legally roasted.

I won't pretend that I exactly know what I'm talking about. But I heard that older people in Japan (and probably in many other places) with higher level position tend to cling to their position and pushing up seniority over skills, so that made many things stagnant and rigid.
Which why I can then understand the hatred towards older generations with high and important position who has this kind of mindset.

Though I'm not sure whether younger generations there actually has some dark thoughts of eliminating the older ones, literally, like this chapter or not.

This is why you should do a bit of research on who you're hiring. Even in this alternate world Toma being well-known for graduating MIT at middle-school age stays the same, and I bet MIT in 2050 is even more cutthroat than it is in 2026.

On unrelated note, might as well ask here. I'm trying to find a specific Q.E.D case, or at least I think its Q.E.D. I'm pretty sure it's one of Katou Motohiro's manga at least.

Do anyone remember a case about, I think a beginner rakugo performer who's warned by their teacher to not getting too obsessed with popularity, but they don't get why they're being warned by their teacher. Then they start to use anecdotes from their daily life for their performances, and they become popular, but people who's life was turned into the story for the performance found out about it and got angry with them?

I thought might as well ask first before I start reread the whole Q.E.D and Q.E.D Iff from the beginning.
