That was the most convoluted way to say that mirrors flip across the Z axis while human think it flips across the Y axis ever.

I don't quite understand the mirror explanation. He made it sound like it's only flipped left and right because our brain trick us. But if you take a picture of you raising your left hand in the mirror, the picture will show you raising your right hand, right? That means the flipping did happen and wasn't an illusion created by the brain.
