Question about the groups

So , I found a manga that only has one chapter here in Manga Dex and it has not being updated for a long time and I found the complete chapters. I download them so I can put them here. My question is about the groups, so when I got to upload chapter I see the thing that says group 1, when I click on that I found the group that created the scan and they are called " zandy no fansub " and it had lock which indicates that only group members can upload to that group. so what do I do then? can I still use another group to upload the chapters?

So to the extent of my knowledge, that lock just means that only members of the group can upload under that group’s name. You can probably upload the chapter under another group if you wanted. Keep in mind the fact that I am new here, so take my words with a grain of salt.

Assuming you are referring to this group (Zandy no Fansub), under their description, they state:

Before uploading something made by us, ask us.

So that should be your first step even before considering another group.
They have a comments page section, or you can just @ their leader.

@Picka1 No. If you arent a member you dont upload their stuff if they have restrictions. Attempting to bypass the restrictions like @Mayorwhiskers said results in a ban just FYI.

Rule 4.5: Circumventing group upload restrictions in any way could result in a ban.

Rule 2.4 A group that is locked, has missing chapters, and has had no new releases on MangaDex or any websites affiliated with that group for a period of 6 months is eligible by the request of any user to become marked as inactive.

Unless the releases youve found are older then 6 months, they arent inactive either.

@blackyawgdom Thanks for letting me know. From OP’s description I thought he had translated the chapter himself and the group was inactive, but it appears I must have misunderstood. I apologize for the errant advice.
