The forums would be a city, with each subforum being a neighborhood, and each thread a building of its own. Each floor would correspond to a page of a thread, and the commenters' hologram would repeat their comment. GET pages would be a huge party.
The profile posts area is the town square, with people getting surprised that their "yell into the void" becomes a hologram and gets preserved for all to see.

I'd go to the reading section most of the time? Only go to the profile post section after taking a cup of coffee at the lounge section to show off my cyberpunk photos.

While occasionally going to announcement section for my monthly news... you know, like the newspaper subscription. Actual, physical newspaper.

If it's just a person that kinda looks and acts like me (which is very rare) then I'll ask for 'er number or email (yeah I use email to talk to some friends) after getting to know 'em but most likely we won't talk unless there's a reason because both of us would be too shy. uwu
Either way we're unlikely to not get along but I do have a thing with clones, being "the original one", "from the prime timeline", personal space, etc.

Just finished dealing with 100+ degree weather which is still a bit unpredictable. Hydrate, stay in shades and don't overwork yourself..

Edit: so I think there's some internet thing where it's like "Rule 63: everything can have a genderswapped version".

Hmm... I do not know for sure, but I wouldn't like it.
Also, it's 90 degrees over here, but with strong winds, and sometimes rain. Thing is, the wind's hot, and the rain just makes things humid enough to make the outside unenjoyable.
Reminds me, last year right as summer started, a branch from our neighbor's tree fell into our air conditioner; we didn't have an air conditioner for two weeks, so we bought a window unit and placed it in one room which we kept closed. I was in there a lot. Our cats were insistent on staying out for a few hours, finally though we brought them in when they gave up avoiding us.
It was an interesting two weeks; Here's hoping nothing like that happens again; but, I did level a warlock from 1-90 in MOP Classic during that time; those two weeks have become a core memory.
