Anyways, red button. Sure, I would be losing myself, but this me is terrible. This person spent 30+ years living without accomplishing anything noteworthy outside of things in this forum. This person failed everything he set out to do and couldn't even take the time to understand what went wrong and how he should learn from it, instead wallowing in his endless sorrow, never bothering to climb up. This person can't feel how others feel. This person knows nothing. This person tried to escape living once (keyword: tried) and he couldn't even do it.

So then, why should this bumbling, psychopathic, stupid, suicidal, stagnant bastard even continue to exist? At least that clone would do better. At least that clone could fix whatever situation he'd end up in. At least that clone could succeed in life. At least that clone could improve.

Nope. If I was a master of my own fate, I'd have to have mastery over everyone's fate that I come into contact with. I may influence mine and others, but I certainly don't want to dictate other people's lives. I do wish the best for everyone though. (Even those who have wished me actual harm in the real world.)... Going to have to listen to Matchbox 20 now.
I DO however feel like I'm the master of fates for the worlds and characters I write.

A very close friend told me something once. A little backstory first- when I was in severe pain and bleeding internally from Crohn's disease and forced to go to a mandatory P.o.D. class (Problems of democracy/government class) for my last year of high school, I greeted them. That's it. They weren't my friend at the time. They weren't sitting next to me. While in agony, I said hi.
I didn't know that they had one of the worst weekends of their life. I didn't know about the abuse they just went through before school. Sometimes just saying a word can help someone feel like life is worth living.
