[South] Korea does make a lot of TV and movie stuff, thing is it's stuff. It's either weird, boring, with broken suspension of disbelief or kind of shit because of weak screenplays and/or bad acting (they over act and grimacing a lot, it's a cultural thing there and it is weird for westerners). So yeah, lot of stuff, but most of it is really fucking hard to watch without rolling your eyes and swearing profoundly.

(Funny thing that western movies now are kinda like that too but for different reasons)

If the movie of the chapter is Train to Busan then you got a point there, but I never heard of the housemaid before. I got a feeling that movie isn't a normie movie

This is a little better than the earlier chapter where they watched The Lover, since they still didn't know each other that well. I'd have felt awkward if I'd watched that movie with a girl I barely knew considering all the sex scenes with bare tits and asses on screen.
