I think the only major change in his appearance is the length of his hair (or just the bang). Before this, his bang almost always covered the eyes and gave him a shady look. Now it's cut short and we have a clear view of his face. Maybe it's not just his body growing but the mentality too.

Ah, so that's Ragna Satoru, from the popular Ragna Kaisen series.

both Side are morally gray. One is the Human who value power over lives and would sacrifice one of lesser faith in place of one with more faith but they’re Protecting humanity.

The other side is a dragon ruling over a mixed race civilization of sort. Not through fear. And I’m not sure of their list of crime even. Maybe I missed something but these guys aren’t as horrible as the one before them.
