There's also the matter that Kamui is strong in physical sense; He can 1v1 almost every Bloodline king except maybe Gilzea but in terms of sheer devastation others are much nastier.

Correction: he has a chance of victory against any Dragon King but Gilzea, doesnt mean he has to upper hand, just that the fight is even enough that Kamui might pull a win pre awakening and even so the same happens to the Glestnovak that is considered overall stronger than pre awakened Kamui (unless by some strange twist hes comparing himself to Kamui on his brief final form).

Think of them as 1.5 Rank Dragons they are on the Dragon King realm but not on the same level of power, heck even Dragon Kings have different levels of strength

Wonder if the "procedure" Crimson spoke of had something to do with completing World Magic? The dragons seem to have been in a position to eradicate the whole humanity if they felt like it for quite a while. Gilzea alone could've done it. But if they are supposed to restrict themselves to completing specific tasks given to individual bloodlines it's probably a different story.
Also since the common knowledge is mistaken that the first king of Wings (Crimson) died when the comet hit, I wonder if the first king of Roars is also actually alive?
