Hm. A bit rushed for such a gloomy backstory there, eh? I'd like to see more of what actually persuaded her to join the first king's side rather than just "love at first sight". Also, she kinda decided to devote herself to Rai a bit fast. Otherwise, I like the backstory - I just hope the name of the "Six Witches of Ruin" doesn't become a red herring and is actually a Chekhov's Gun. Also, I hope she sticks around, she's fun so far.

She killed the original Holy Sword's wielders friend, family, and Fiancee, not to mention she betrayed her own kind for some hero D, so I think she deserved that fate - at least for a while.
Had she not fallen in love, would she have ever helped humanity?

I've seen the other raws of the manga, and they indeed had slept together fully naked inside the tent. Daren entered to deliver a report and apologized with embarrassment.

Kinda funny that despite having slept together MC is still acting like a naive kid from the advances of the maid, you'd think he'd be countering back but nope the only "counter" we've outright seen is headpats.


As for the maid's backstory, main thing I can get from that with cross reference to what MC's brother said about the original wielder of the Holy Sword is the previous Hero potentially went insane and betrayed everyone which once again makes me question if the Holy Sword is actually a Holy Sword or if it's actually a Demonic or Cursed Sword... In which case I honestly hope MC loses it all by the end, I still can't cheer fully for his revenge unlike with other revenge MCs like Raoul or Keyaruga.

I think you're supposed to already know her backstory since she gives the impression of being a mashup of some of the Arifureta girls (Yue and Tio Klarus come to mind).

Or maybe it's the thought that her life with a previous hero lessens the current MC's standing.
