its really good, the twist with this one is really interesting. I'm always a slut for NG+ concepts.

I'd love and hate to play a game like that. It's been a long time since I've felt this invested in this kind of story. I just can't wait to see how everything resolves in the end. And whether the game will manage to break the mc a couple times before that.

I don't understand why he's not aiming for the throne himself.

Him becoming an adopted prince is impossible but
overthrowing a kingdom and becoming it's new king is.

Then marrying her after obtaining the throne achieves the same result right?

This world is palpable, and from what I've seen, it's pretty hard to defeat knights, let alone a Swordmaster, so, the problem is that is not worth even trying in most cases
