for fuck sake why? your dream was always to become a strong mage, your entire plan since being reborn was to become the strongest mage possible yet you just throw all that away to become a swordsman? just because your brother was extremely surprised? why would you care, you are aiming for the top so why hide it? is he going to pretend to be a weakling with his sword mastery too?
I like to think of it as this way: What's the point of studying magic if the standard of magic is so abysmally low you literally can't learn anything? It's like going to college and the most advanced mathematics course is basic multiplication and division. He never learned swordsmanship so this is new to him and not a waste of his time, he can still practice and research on his own.
While Im usually annoyed by the MC always hiding their OPness. At 4 years old what kind of life could he lead. Most likely he would be deemed some kind of devil/demon child or something. Either way his power can move nations and just sounds annoying if it was widely publicized.
And yet another manga falls for the "lets hide my capabilities" bs. Makes no sense, the advantages of people knowing surpass by far the disadvantages, even more so when he is so powerful, who tf would mess with him?
his opponent is actually a giant leg. i hope this spoiler ruined the next chapter for you all
@bradek well the typical story reaction for that is kidnap loved ones or try to kill them and the op character because they cant have it so no one can or its possibly a threat to them even though they could just f off and nothing would happen.
What are yall talking about? Said it right in the chap: he's only stuck on swordsmanship because his Persistence skill actually makes him too stubborn to give up.
He's doing it as a hobby and "being the Strongest Mage Knight doesn't sound too bad". He's still gonna use magic.
Till this day, I still dont get the logic behind knowledge degrading over time. Other than pretext of making MC super OP, I really dont see any other reason for it.
