If you go back a bunch of chapters both of our MCs had arcs where they thought they'd been NTRed. Makato thought that Masimi had taken Aki (and she would have except he was not used to wine and threw up in the love hotel, if I remember correctly), and Aki thought the womanizing assistant who tried to get Masimi in college had seduced Makato when Makato got angry with Aki and went to dinner with him. (Boy that was a long sentence.) It drove both of them to tears, literally in Aki's case.

Idk, I thought this was a nice development chap from Makoto and then we got the ending lol.

Feel like if there was ever a chapter that spelled out how they wont ever be together, it was this. The little impulses they act on are fun, but thats all it is.

Doubt Aki will be mature about it and not act on the impulse the moment Sensei feels lonely again(which seems likely based on her internal thoughts before rushing to meet Aki).

Bullshit. It defaces the work. Put them at the end if they want to add something, not infiltrate the flow of the story with their little blurbs.
