In this thread we share random, funny, helpful or otherwise interesting information about authors and artists which is part of their biography.
For example, if you look at artist Ohbata Takeshi's biography you'll find this little paragraph which is kinda funny:
"On September 6, 2006, Obata was arrested for illegal possession of an 8.6 cm knife when he was pulled over in Musashino, Tokyo for driving with his car's headlights off at 12:30am. The artist claimed he kept the knife in his car for when he goes camping."
It's funny because it's just randomly there, oddly specific and doesn't sound like a serious crime but it is in Japan (I think).
You can also simply share some interesting facts about them.
Did you know? It is speculated that Tsugumi Ohba (which is the pen name of the one who made Death Note, Bakuman and Platinum End with Obata) might actually be Hiroshi Gamo, who made Tottemo! Luckyman.
This is mostly based on similarities in the style of early storyboards of Death Note with Luckyman and a gag mangaka character who might be a reference to Gamo in Bakuman.
Yeah I couldn't think of a better acronym.
