Day 25!
Today's theme is I've been looking for you. Got something I'm supposed to deliver - your hands only.
Today's roll is The Dragon, the Hero, and the Courier, which is a manga about a half-elf courier doing package deliverers to things like dragon's wizards and heros
Honestly, I really like these kinds of world building stories, always such an interesting read ૮^ᆺ^ა
it's nice to see a courier who actually does their job no matter what, instead of abandoning my package because my "leaf pile was too threatening" I mean, sure it was shaped into the address of the courier's mother, but I paid for that delivery you bastard ૮ò-óა
This series has a super interesting idea of a generic rpg fantasy rapidly becoming modernized ૮.ᆺ. ა, and if ya want some spoilers;
ch.1 was about land disputes between the local council and a mountain dwelling wizard, with a side of resurrection magic
ch.2 is about how the "hero's party" has change and how its now handled, and on the side talks about how exp and levels is now handled, currency exchange, and bikini armor
ch.3 is about a dispute between too massive tsundere's with a side lore of paper, family disputes and patents
and that's all I will spoil for today!
In my opinion this manga is quite fun and I do recommend it! But on a side not, the bureaucracy in is manga really fucking irritated me
I know I said no more spoilers, but ch.5 was a bit too real it's about how skills that were once useful and needed (in this case mages) are becoming obsolete and replaced by machines that never get tired and are more efficient and effective than a human could ever be and cost less than a human ever will. it hits very close to home with the opening of the generative ai Pandora's box that looks to cut out the soul of humanity from our most sacred of works and goverments that don't seem to care about how it effects the people
