So, MC's family was a billioner gone to poverty? Is this correct? hmmmm... Seems plausible, but he joined in the military. And then after the bankrupt, instead of joining back to military, he applied as a shop clerk/ cashier in a convinient store??? Is he not eligible to apply as a civil servant or any higher degree??? or because the plot shield???

I actually like the fact that he ignored the job because he was actually thinking of his future instead of some weird reason.

I swear this is almost the exact plot of the moonlight sculpter. If anyone is into this, I'd suggest going to read that. Many more chapters too

@jbenj In South Korea male citizens between the ages of 18 and 28 have to perform a compulsory military service. I don't think the military will necessarily accept everyone who had performed the conscription. In addition, not many would like to go to the military even if it would result in a lower salary. I find it less plausible that such as rich family would get bankrupt this easily. If they had a well diversified investment it would be almost impossible.

It is clearly for plot reasons thought so he can go back to the game and rise after being a newbie again. 😂

Hol up. if you're an heir, shouldn't you be trained in management and finance or that's how it's supposed to be since you can't just be a greenhorn when you're the CEO of a damn company and you're telling me he wasn't even exposed even a lil bit in that area expertise? Tf?

Its not that unlikely to go from billionaire to poverty if most of that money was being applied into the company itself back and not into something else. But to not have some fat reserve or money into ANYTHING else, thats the weird part.

Also him not handing over his gear to a secondary account (or to a close friend even) or selling it... welp.

@ShionSinX In theory, but no one that made it that far with a company instead of just inheriting or lottery would make that mistake. At least they would never fall that low that they dont know how to pay the medical bills, maybe no more big mansion, yacht and butler, but enough to live well without too much worries at least.

It really depends. These asian countries they've always got stories about how debts follow even their kids. I mean sure it's mostly loan sharks but the law seems structured where it's legal. So perhaps they don't have bankruptcy protection shit.

As for stashing money offshore/foreign banks, yeah rich people do that mainly because rich people are rich due to shady business practices or down right illegal business. However perhaps his family were truly honest businessmen and that's why didn't have hidden money. Even then, can't really spend it in your home country if you have unpaid debts or they'd come after it. So probably have to move.

All speculation, idk shit irl about asian financial laws or markets. I do know however the world is a shitty place for honest people.
