I was confused cause in my head gay=good thing, and cute=good thing. So my brain interpreted your statement as something like "It's not a good thing if it's a good thing." Which was baffling.

Idk, i feel like the author just decided to draw a really feminine and sleek girl just flip the gender to a boy without any further changes.

Definitely not to my taste (BL is not my thing) but he looks feminine enough that you can.. kinda just ignore it?

Vampire x Human BL (pretty much the pre-serialization) in the author's backlog is twitter fluff of this couple. Should really be in the description. Not as good as the official version but if you're waiting for more chapters, there ya go.

This story is hecken cute and makes me cheer for Raul. There's sweetness and some violence, androgyny, and beefcake. Consistent understated sexy, without feeling like distracting fanservice. Despite the premise it's surprisingly non-toxic? Maybe questionable in the abstract, but Rose is doing alright and hasn't come off as pedo or grooming so far at all, rather his sweetness is consistent and he gently draws boundaries for his apprentice.

For my standards so far the story survives the minefield that ruins 95% of mentor/guardian->romance progression, doesn't do any of the machismo tropes that turns me off of a lot of BL, and I don't get a feeling of weird self-insert in the art or writing. It's not terribly thought provoking but it has a very nice balance. I hope it runs a while.

NGL, I didn't read the tags and it took me 3 chapters before I realized this book was gay as fuck.

Pretty good read though, especially for the fact that this isn't my usual cup of tea.
