I was liking this so much because the MC is supposed to be a monster who will even eat humans and now its just your everyday simp.

The traumatized girls accepted him and trusted him too early too.

And whats his end game of freeing them? They report about and intelligent goblin which commands a trained army which also killed an entire platoon of adventurers. Is there any reason why they WON'T dispatch and army to kill him?

Those goblins are definitely muscle heads. MC not only beat all of them up alone, but did their training without breaking a sweat while they lay on the ground gasping and yet think can force their views on him or get away with just a slap on the wrist? Then again, they were smart enough to sneak over rather than challenge him directly and get another whooping.

@Faryshta MC is ruthless when he needs to be, but does have a heart for those weaker and need help who aren't enemies. Also, seems to have a personality that really appeals to girls considering the yandere that killed him when he was human did so because was insanely jealous and angry that didn't see her as a woman or potential bed partner. Granted girls were a quick to trust him, but considering he can talk, sees value in them other than as brood mares, talks to them in human standard, is protecting them from being raped by the other goblins, and the only sliver of hope can depend on is contributing too. That and it's not like they rolled over immediately, like the time he pointed out if they poisoned the food he might not be able to protect them which scared them despite it not being intended as a threat. As for them talking he has several ways of preventing them. Simplest being taking them in a roundabout trip without being allowed to look out the wagon or carriage riding on except for late at night so would have no idea other than general area of where captured and frankly who'd believe them? Some nice goblin that speaks common beat up the other goblins so they wouldn't get raped, treated them as POWs, was intelligent, knew good cooking recipes, used magic to design a cave for their convenience, and safely returned them home?

@Mathiason yes I would believe them that there is a dangerous goblin inside the forest whos comrades killed several adventurers parties because those adventurers and merchants are already reported dead.

Yes no one will believe there is a "good goblin" there, everyone will suspect that goblin has ulterior motives and will send an army to deal with everyone of them.

For the rest of your comment. You are wrong, the MC haven't shown any sympathy towards anyone weaker than him, even those who are not enemies like the mining orcs or every other animal on the forest.

@Faryshta I'm saying even if the girls talked nobody would believe them as their story would be too wild and just think their minds were disturbed by the trauma from normal goblins so while a force might be sent their pride would keep it down to a small force just enough to defeat a goblin nest with a few hobgoblins but not ogres or anything bigger. As for sympathy I should say he shows concern for cute girls weaker than him but not ugly monsters or guys. Granted he usually does what is best for him and a predator into survival of the fittest but there are several chapters where even if he would normally kill and eat something he decided to act on his heart and let them go instead. Although if not a cute female and something was hostile to him he will kill and eat it. However, if he didn't have sympathy he wouldn't have let the previous group of women decide whether to kill themselves or not by providing them poison, and could've drugged the current group with contraceptives to keep the numbers down so the other goblins could rape the women without being ticked with him for getting in the way. However, he protected them and is going to deal with the offenders in a way that's going to make the others extremely reluctant to go against him. Also, that girl who killed him in ch1 he considered a sister despite not being related by blood even though he was a mercenary who travelled without her a lot and ate enemies to get stronger as well.

And yes no one will believe the "good goblin" part of the story but they will belive the "hobgoblin with weapons" part because it fits the events of several adventurer parties and merchants murdered on road.
