In case these animal goblins forget : they are in a middle of a war . But lucky for them , the humans are so stupid , they only send in small troup after small troup , and not attack at once with all they got . So the goblins have lot of free time between attacks , they can : chatting , training , hunting , mining , building hot spring , taking a bath ...

@daywithoutgames Rou is from a modern world originally, so the form makes sense, but it's probably powered by magic instead of electricity, after all modern fans have a high efficiency design and all the magic has to do to produce a constant breeze is keep the fan blades spinning, and even if it's not that efficient all it has to do is be more efficient than creating and sustaining a breeze from nothing and it still makes sense
furthermore, it's not that the humans are stupid, but because it's a FOREST there are a couple small-ish roads that sustain 1-2 carts wide at a time plus soldiers on foot, but there just isn't room to do a full frontal deployment of troops, plus on top of encounters with elves and Rou they have to contend with the other random encounters with monsters in the forest AND the traps laid by Rou and the elves
...based on the comments you keep posting, I can't figure out why you kept reading this far since you seem to neither understand the story nor enjoy it


also, what happened to the Rou kicking Rusty's ass scene? I enjoyed seeing his confusion when Rou buffs him right before Rou shows him who is boss...and where's the Miss Knight's short lived rebellion scene?
