I kind of feel bad for the MC's friend. Personally, I think it'd be horrible being part of the MC's party. He's so powerful he essentially one-shots everything, meaning you're just going to be standing in the background following along doing nothing at all. Teaming up with him basically means you won't even be playing the game. I'd be so frustrated and bored out of my mind I'd probably lose interest in the game entirely.

@Guytsu, yeah that is one interpretation, though i think the MC's friend doesnt seem to mind that much. He is able to enter high-level major-quest-relevant areas with a reliable party member and also in a game where the NPCs have actual culture and interactions with the playerbase, having a powerful ally who is going to lead one of the magic towers in the future seems beneficial. MC already made his friend's guild the representative guild for the government of that one area. Also, the friend gets to play as a cool custom class (Guardian is basically a support-style warrior) that is only really a logical choice when you have another party member as the vanguard.

Wow I can't believe this war arc is gonna end so soon?! MC is soooo OP, but I wish the author would have a bit more substance to this arc? I feel like it could have brought out more lore of the video game that they're in. :\

I'm glad that the MC's friend got a job change is able to get a % of exp from the MC's kills. It must be hard to leech off your friend when you're the one who invited them to play the game in the first place.

@Guytsu yep the author just lost his hand while making the mc strong, it became just not like a game at all cause he just go and one shot anything alone, he don't need anyone else cause he got power and he got a defensive spell as well. If I was in his friend's place I would ask him for us to got different ways so I can actually play the game as well and not just make the game a walking simulator or carriage driver simulator.
