[Reader] When progress bar is set to "lightbar" and the last image in long strip mode did not load, it is hard to click to retry

As per title, when reading in long strip mode and the very last image did not load, trying to click on the red button will instead activate the progress lightbar and have the whole comic jump to a random place (more or less, I think it depends on the horizontal position of the mouse cursor.)
Clicking on the button is actually possible, but the area not covered by the lightbar is relatively small so it's not immediately obvious.

I think the invisible element with the hover effect to make it respond when the mouse gets close is obstructing the click to retry button.
My guess would be changing z-height of an invisible button for the retry so it's above the lightbar hover. I would attempt it myself, but I don't know how to go about causing images to fail to load controllably without completely putting my computer to sleep.
