@SingLove In that kinda context, it's not unusual to refer to yourself as "onee-chan". She is his onee-chan after all (cousin, but it still counts).

Nononononono. That's not the issue.
The issue here is he made friends with you because he had an ulterior motive.

well i'm glad the villain is a misunderstanding rather than a violent sex fiend.

for now, that is... you never know with this manga.

"Just be more careful." Worthless advice. The only thing she could've done to be more careful is not enter the water. I mean, you should be able to expect that swimsuits don't just get loose in the water. This is just like when you accidentally drop some plates and someone tells you to be careful, like yeah, no shit, no need to tell me that.

Also, what is this whole "he's a man therefore he can change, so be careful" BS? You can't keep your guard up around everyone just because they may become someone dangerous. Also don't like the fact that him being male apparently needs to be stated here. As if women are completely trustworthy beings that never change for better or worse.

Couple these things with the fact this teacher initially egged the guy on to become friends with her (I forgot this, good thing the chapter reminded me) when student's interpersonal relations aren't hers to form, my god what a worthless teacher.

This manga is pretty good by its own merit. I hope it won't get dropped as it's been facing that possibility many times...

@Daphine
This has been one of those hypocritical thoughts for me. While I like this manga and wish for it to continue.....at the same time, I think it would had ended well when:

Perfectly - Right after first arc and they went on the date. He saved her from the guy, repaired the friendship between her and her former best, and in doing so stopped the one who initially started the rumors. Keep it to relationship building and have getting rid of the bad rumors as a sub-plot and it could have ended in a great way. But then they added in Ibu....

Satisfactory - After solving things with Ibu. The truth about what happened came to light making him confront and move on from his trauma. The classmates had came to accept heroine despite the rumors still going around. He made up with Ibu but made it clear that she no longer has a chance with him. Still some loose ends but it could have ended nicely. But then they added in the SCP....

Not bad but meh - This was a pretty pointless arc to be honest, and not only did nothing happen to the student council despite being violent with mc (something heroine got in trouble for when she was protecting a fellow student) and starting a extremely harmful rumor (something mc was almost expelled from despite HAVING NO EVIDENCE). But then the story made a full circle as she had nothing to do with the rumors that wasn't yuri related. So in other words, her part in everything was completely worthless, the only rumors she fixed were the ones she started, we found out the Cotton loves the mc enough she won't even consider anyone else....cause you know we didn't already know that....and now we have a new mastermind who's aiming for the mc....because drama. We STILL don't know who's continuing the rumors about heroine and now we have someone making rumors about mc.....more added, less solved. Ending her would not been good but instead of fixing the leftover plot points they are now adding a new one...... Which is way now more than ever I wished it ended within the first 2 arcs before it shoots itself in the foot.

*sigh* I will say one thing, it's now clear that a teacher is involved in someway with the rumors or uneven punishment going towards mc. But....I just don't care....keep the rumor squishing as a sub-plot and focus more on heroine breaking mc out of his shell or hell after twice he's saving her....they could have made an arc of her saving him. Instead....this....

This is forced, i'm sorry for the author but.....putting a teacher to say something so hurtful without consideration it's really stupid. Well that's just my opinion

How is this forced? This drama is based on the very first argument of this manga lmao

More than that, i would say that author-kun is trying to wrap up things now
It wouldn't surprise me if this was the beginning of the last arc

To be fair, yes, he was forced into all of this stuff. And as I absolutely abhor that trope, I like the plot point of her learning about this.

Ehhh. last pages felt kinda forced. Though that might just be the way it was worded in translation. "I made him endure me" sounds janky.
